The largest city in Kootenai county, about 30 miles east of Spokane, WA is our “Little slice of Heaven” as broadcaster Barbara Walters once described. The top notch Coeur d’Alene resort and 165 beautiful treed acres of Tubbs Hill make up most of downtown. Eclectic shops, restaurants, and sandy lake-front shores fill in the rest. The city is surrounded by forest and lakes with Lake Coeur d’Alene alone offering over 100 miles of shoreline. We enjoy four seasons here and temperatures typically vary from 24 to 86 degrees throughout the year. Population rises in the summer as notable events such as the Car d’Alene car show and Art on the Green bring tourists. Incredible golfing, hiking, fishing, camping, biking, boating and swimming never leave you bored in the warmer months while the calm of winter is captivatingly beautiful and best enjoyed on one of the many mountain resorts at our backdoor.
